News, notes and working thinking from the studio behind High end Graphics, Animation, Films and Creative web design.

Abstract studio workspace with layered graphic forms

About this journal

HUTCH Design is a studio working across graphics, motion, film and the web. This journal is where we share news from current projects, explain the decisions behind our creative work, and document how we build websites for musicians, photographers and independent artists.

Our aim is practical. We write about the craft of design and animation, the tools we use to bring Flash and HTML solutions to life, and the lessons we take from each commission.
